A South Korean businesswoman introduced a new health staple in the market – white kimchi juice made of fermented cabbage and vegetables without salted fish or red chilli pepper

South Korea launches white kimchi juice

The new  white kimchi juice is made from fermented cabbage and vegetables.

The kimchi drink is the brainchild of Park Yun-kyung (CEO of SHm, Seoul, South Korea).  She chose white kimchi to reduce spiciness and smell.

«I have to go on overseas business trips a lot. I really like Korean food, and I missed it when I went to Europe or the Americas. I used to bring red pepper paste packaged in tubes, but sometimes I would really crave for cold kimchi, but it was hard to get, and its smell was also an issue. So, I started to think of ways I could eat kimchi more conveniently, -she told.
